INSTRUCTOR: Kids in the Kitchen! (Section 1)

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of chefs and food enthusiasts? Join us as an instructor for "Kids in the Kitchen," our exciting and educational children's cooking course! We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead our three divisions: Little Chefs (ages 4-7), Junior Cooks (ages 8-11), and Teen Tastemakers (ages 12-15).

Little Chefs (Ages 5-8): Spark creativity and joy in our youngest students as they explore basic kitchen skills, simple recipes, and the fun of cooking. Your role will be to create a safe, engaging, and playful environment where kids can learn through hands-on activities and storytelling.

Junior Cooks (Ages 9-11): Guide our junior chefs through more advanced culinary techniques, nutrition education, and teamwork. You'll help them build confidence in the kitchen while encouraging curiosity and experimentation with different ingredients and recipes.

Teen Tastemakers (Ages 12-14): Mentor our teens as they dive deeper into the art and science of cooking. This division focuses on developing sophisticated cooking skills, understanding food cultures, and fostering a passion for culinary arts that could inspire future career aspirations.

As a "Kids in the Kitchen" instructor, you'll be more than a teacher; you'll be a mentor, role model, and cheerleader for young culinary explorers. If you have a love for cooking, a knack for teaching, and a desire to make a positive impact on children's lives, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engaging and interactive lifestyle courses based on provided curriculum.

  • Create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for students.

  • Facilitate group discussions and activities to promote learning and interaction.

  • Maintain accurate attendance records and provide feedback to students & parents.

  • Attend required training sessions and stay updated on curriculum changes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in training or instruction is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for teaching and helping others learn and grow.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to adapt to different learning styles and environments.
